I love everything about school! Nothing beats packed lunches, twenty-five cent chocolate milk (at least that was the price when I was a kid), tether ball, class parties, assemblies, book orders, fundraisers, bus rides, reading fairs, take-home projects, etc. I could easily keep going. I had a wonderful elementary school experience. And now that I am an adult, I have even more fun volunteering in Simon's class. Both Simon and I are excited about school starting next week!
I almost had a heart attack thinking I missed the first day of school. I have this fear of not getting Madie there on the right day. I am sure Simon is going to love first grade.
