We arrived at the hotel in Pocatello in the late afternoon on Friday. We went swimming as a family, feasted on a high-carb dinner (for Jess' sake), returned to the hotel, and let the kids watch a movie before bed.

Jess completed the marathon in a respectable 3 hours and 46 minutes. He got very sick at the 6 mile marker and was just happy to complete the race.
The Pocatello marathon really threw a party for those who participated. There were bounce houses for the kids, free cotton candy and ice cream bars, free Great Harvest slices of bread, free Texas Roadhouse meals, free stuffed baked potatoes, free bottles of Gatorade, free everything!

JessImmediately after Jess' race, we drove back to the hotel where Jess showered. We packed up our things and headed for Yellowstone!

Fred ran many races in Pocatello {never the marathon} we always had fun there!
Can't wait to hear about Yellowstone!
